Question 1

What is the difference between the Abarth 595 and 695?

Accepted Answer

Both derive from the Fiat 500 and use the 1.4 T-Jet turbo. The 695 name marks the top and limited editions, such as the Biposto and the Tributo Ferrari, while the 595 is the regular range.

Question 2

Can a modified Abarth fail the revisione?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Aftermarket exhausts, wheels or suspension must be approved and, where required, recorded on the Documento Unico, otherwise the car can fail the revisione. Ask which parts are original before buying.

Question 3

How much bollo does a used Abarth 595 or 695 pay?

Accepted Answer

The bollo follows the car's kW and Euro class at the owner's regional rate. Most 595s and 695s exceed 100 kW, so those extra kW pay the higher rate, but none reaches the 185 kW superbollo threshold.

Question 4

Is it worth buying a new Abarth 500e or 600e?

Accepted Answer

New Abarths are electric only: the 500e with 155 hp and a 42 kWh battery, as a hatchback or cabrio, and the 600e SUV with 240 or 280 hp and a 54 kWh battery. Each version appears at Abarth's official list price beside the used cars.
