Question 1

Which used Alfa Romeo SUV should I buy?

Accepted Answer

The Stelvio suits those who want space, rear- or four-wheel drive and the 2.2 diesel. The Tonale is more compact, with mild-hybrid, diesel and plug-in versions, and the Junior is the smallest, also sold as an electric car.

Question 2

Does the Alfa Romeo Tonale plug-in hybrid have four-wheel drive?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Tonale Plug-in Hybrid Q4 adds an electric motor on the rear axle, giving four-wheel drive. On a used one, ask how it was charged and have a dealer check the battery's health.

Question 3

Why was the Alfa Romeo Junior first called Milano?

Accepted Answer

It was unveiled in 2024 as the Milano but renamed Junior within days, after Italy's government objected to an Italian city's name on a car built in Poland. Early adverts may use either name.

Question 4

How much does a new Alfa Romeo Stelvio or Tonale cost?

Accepted Answer

The new Stelvio, Tonale and Junior are listed version by version at Alfa Romeo's price: the Stelvio with the 2.2 diesel or the Quadrifoglio V6, the Tonale mild hybrid, plug-in or diesel, the Junior mild hybrid or electric. All are automatic.
