Question 1

Which Audi Q3 generation should I buy used?

Accepted Answer

The second generation, from 2018, is roomier and more modern inside than the first, with a digital instrument panel and more driver assistance. The first, from 2011, costs less and suits a tighter budget.

Question 2

Is a used Audi Q3 better in diesel or petrol?

Accepted Answer

A TDI suits high mileage and long journeys, which is why diesel is the most common Q3 in Italy. For shorter trips a TFSI avoids particulate-filter trouble and the diesel limits of zones such as Milan's Area B.

Question 3

What is the difference between the Audi Q3 and the Q3 Sportback?

Accepted Answer

The Sportback, from 2019, has a lower, sloping roofline and sportier styling over the same mechanicals. It gives up some rear headroom and boot height compared with the regular Q3.

Question 4

How much does a new Audi Q3 cost?

Accepted Answer

The new third-generation Q3 is sold with TFSI petrol engines from 150 to 265 hp, TDI diesels of 150 and 193 hp and a 272 hp e-hybrid plug-in, all with S tronic, in Business, Business Advanced and S line trims, each at Audi's list price.
