Question 1

Which Audi Q5 engines are the most reliable?

Accepted Answer

The 2.0 TDI and the 3.0 TDI V6 hold up well at high mileage when serviced on time, although town use clogs the particulate filter. Early first-generation 2.0 TFSI petrol engines are known for burning oil, so ask how much it uses.

Question 2

Does a used Audi Q5 pay the superbollo?

Accepted Answer

Only versions over 185 kW pay it, such as the SQ5 and the 286 hp V6 TDI of the second generation. The surcharge comes on top of the regional bollo, falls as the car ages and ends twenty years after it was built.

Question 3

Do all Audi Q5s have quattro four-wheel drive?

Accepted Answer

Most do, but some entry-level versions drive only the front wheels, including the new 204 hp TFSI. On second-generation four-cylinder cars, quattro ultra disconnects the rear axle when it is not needed.

Question 4

Which versions does the new Audi Q5 come in?

Accepted Answer

The new Q5 comes with a 204 hp TFSI petrol, front-drive or quattro, 204 and 299 hp TDI diesels and 299 and 367 hp e-hybrid plug-ins, all with S tronic. The trims step up from Business and Business Advanced to S line and S line plus.
