Question 1

What is the difference between the Audi Q5 and the Q5 Sportback?

Accepted Answer

The Sportback, sold from 2021, has a sloping roofline that takes some headroom and boot space from the back. The SUV keeps the upright tailgate, which makes bulky loads easier to fit.

Question 2

Is the Audi Q5 good for towing?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the diesel quattro versions are a common choice for towing a caravan or a trailer, and many used ones have a factory tow bar. The maximum towable mass depends on the engine, so check it on the Documento Unico.

Question 3

Is a used Audi Q5 plug-in hybrid worth buying?

Accepted Answer

It suits drivers who can charge at home and cover short daily trips on electricity; with a flat battery it is a heavy petrol SUV. Ask about the battery's condition, and check your region's bollo rules for hybrids, which often differ.

Question 4

Is the new Audi Q5 SUV available as a plug-in hybrid?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the new Q5 is sold as an e-hybrid plug-in with 299 or 367 hp, a 21 kWh battery, quattro and S tronic, beside the 204 hp TFSI and the 204 or 299 hp TDI. The trims run from Business to S line plus.
