Question 1

What is the difference between an Audi mild hybrid and a TFSI e?

Accepted Answer

A mild hybrid uses a belt-driven starter-generator to recover energy and help the engine, but cannot drive on electricity alone. A TFSI e is a plug-in hybrid with a larger battery that charges from a socket and covers short trips with the engine off.

Question 2

Does a used Audi hybrid pay less bollo in Italy?

Accepted Answer

Often yes: in most regions a hybrid pays one flat rate per kW, with no higher rate above 100 kW. The rule follows the fuel recorded on the Documento Unico and the owner's region, so check both before buying.

Question 3

What should you check on a used Audi TFSI e?

Accepted Answer

Check that the charging cable comes with the car and that it charges both from a home socket and at a public point. A full charge that gives far less electric range than the car managed new is the reason to ask about the battery.

Question 4

Which new Audi models are sold as hybrids in Italy?

Accepted Answer

New hybrid Audis range from the A3 and Q3 to the A5, A6, Q5, Q7, Q8 and A8, plus the A6 allroad and the RS 5. Every one has an automatic gearbox, and each version can be compared at Audi's list price beside the used cars.
