Question 1

Which petrol engine is best on a used Dacia Sandero?

Accepted Answer

For mixed driving, the third generation's 1.0 TCe with 90 or 100 hp, which pulls well from low revs. The non-turbo SCe is simpler and enough for town, but slow with the car loaded.

Question 2

How much bollo does a petrol Dacia Sandero pay?

Accepted Answer

It is charged on the car's kW and Euro class at the owner's region's rate, and a Sandero's low power keeps it among the lowest. An Eco-G pays one flat rate per kW in most regions.

Question 3

Petrol or petrol-LPG Dacia Sandero: which should I buy?

Accepted Answer

The Eco-G runs mostly on LPG, which costs less than petrol and is widely sold in Italy, so it suits high mileage. For short or occasional trips a petrol-only Sandero is simpler, with no LPG tank to replace after ten years.

Question 4

How much does a new petrol Dacia Sandero cost?

Accepted Answer

The new petrol Sandero comes as the Streetway with the TCe 100 or the Stepway with the TCe 110, both manual, and on both as the Eco-G 120 petrol-LPG with a manual or automatic gearbox. Each version is at Dacia's list price beside the used cars.
