What should I check on a used Fiat 500C roof?

Run the electric fabric roof through its full travel, open and closed, and look for tears in the canvas. Check the boot and carpets for damp, which points to tired seals or blocked drains.

Is the Fiat 124 Spider a Mazda MX-5?

It shares the MX-5's chassis and was built alongside it by Mazda in Hiroshima, but it has its own body and Fiat's 1.4 MultiAir turbo petrol engine. The Abarth 124 Spider has a more powerful version of the same engine.

Which engines did the Fiat 500C have?

The petrol 500C launched in 2009 came with 1.2 and 1.4 engines, then the two-cylinder 0.9 TwinAir and, from 2020, the 1.0 mild hybrid. A 1.3 MultiJet diesel was offered too.

Can you buy a new Fiat 500 cabrio?

Yes, the 500 cabrio is sold new as an electric version with a single-speed automatic, and as a petrol version with a manual gearbox. A used 500C widens the choice to the older engines and the earlier body.
