What is the difference between Ford TDCi and EcoBlue diesels?

EcoBlue is the newer generation that replaced the TDCi from the late 2010s. The most recent EcoBlue versions clean their exhaust with SCR and AdBlue, so check that the tank, pump and sensor work.

Can a used Ford diesel enter Milan's Area B?

It depends on its Euro class, shown on the Documento Unico: Area B excludes older diesel classes on a calendar that widens over the years. Check the city's current rules before buying.

Is a used Ford Kuga diesel a good buy?

For long distances, yes: the 2.0 TDCi and EcoBlue are strong engines, and some versions have all-wheel drive. On short urban trips the particulate filter struggles to regenerate.

Is there still a new Ford diesel in Italy?

Only the Tourneo Connect and the longer Grand Tourneo Connect, with the 2.0 EcoBlue at 102 hp and a manual gearbox or 122 hp and a Powershift automatic. Ford's cars and SUVs are now petrol, hybrid or electric.
