How much is the bollo in Liguria?

Liguria charges the national rate plus 10%, so a Euro 4 to 6 car pays €2.84 per kW up to 100 kW and €4.26 above. From 30 years, a car driven on public roads pays a flat €28.40 a year instead.

Do electric and hybrid cars pay the bollo in Genoa?

An electric car is exempt for five years from first registration in Liguria. A hybrid registered from 2024 pays, as the region did not renew its exemption.

What should you check on a used car from the Ligurian coast?

Salt air speeds up corrosion on cars parked outdoors by the sea, so look at the underbody, brake lines and exhaust on a lift. On Genoa's hills, a slipping clutch or worn brakes are also worth a test drive uphill.
