Question 1

Which Jeep Avenger is best to buy used?

Accepted Answer

The electric suits drivers who can charge at home or at work, and pays no bollo for its first five years. The 1.2 petrol with a manual is the simplest and cheapest to buy, while the e-Hybrid makes town traffic easier with its automatic.

Question 2

Does the Jeep Avenger have four-wheel drive?

Accepted Answer

Only the 4xe does: a second electric motor drives the rear wheels alongside the 48-volt hybrid at the front. Every other Avenger, petrol, e-Hybrid or electric, is front-wheel drive.

Question 3

Does an electric Jeep Avenger pay the bollo in Italy?

Accepted Answer

By national law an electric car pays no bollo for five years from first registration, then a quarter of the rate. Lombardy and Piedmont exempt it for good, so the owner's region decides.

Question 4

How much does a new Jeep Avenger cost?

Accepted Answer

The new Avenger comes with the 100 hp 1.2 petrol and manual gearbox, the 110 hp 48-volt hybrid with automatic, the 145 hp 4xe with all-wheel drive or as a 156 hp electric with a 54 kWh battery. Each trim is at Jeep's list price beside the used cars.
