Question 1

Is the Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid a full hybrid?

Accepted Answer

No, it is a 48-volt mild hybrid: an electric motor in the gearbox helps the 1.2 turbo and can move the car briefly at low speed, as when parking. It never needs plugging in.

Question 2

What should I check on a used Jeep Avenger 1.2 petrol?

Accepted Answer

Ask for a service record showing oil changes on time with the grade Jeep specifies, as Stellantis' 1.2 three-cylinder is sensitive to oil quality. On an e-Hybrid, check that the automatic engages smoothly when pulling away.

Question 3

How is the bollo of a Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid charged?

Accepted Answer

In most regions a hybrid pays one flat rate per kW whatever its Euro class, while the manual petrol pays the Euro 6 rate. A few regions, such as Veneto, exempt hybrids for some years, so check the owner's region.

Question 4

How much does a new petrol Jeep Avenger cost?

Accepted Answer

The new petrol Avenger comes as the 100 hp 1.2 with a manual, the 110 hp 48-volt hybrid automatic or the 145 hp 4xe with all-wheel drive. Each trim is at Jeep's list price beside the used cars.
