Question 1

Is the Range Rover Evoque 2.0 diesel reliable?

Accepted Answer

The 2.0 Ingenium is generally sound, but early engines, from 2015 to about 2017, had cases of timing-chain stretch, so ask whether it was checked. Driven only in town, any Evoque diesel can clog its particulate filter.

Question 2

Front-wheel or four-wheel drive on a used Range Rover Evoque diesel?

Accepted Answer

The lower-powered eD4 and D150 versions with a manual gearbox have front-wheel drive only, while the stronger diesels drive all four wheels. For snow or mountain roads, pick a four-wheel-drive version.

Question 3

Can a used Range Rover Evoque diesel enter Milan's Area B?

Accepted Answer

That depends on its Euro class: Area B shuts out older diesels on a calendar that widens over the years. First-generation Evoques built before 2015 are mostly Euro 5, so check the class on the Documento Unico.

Question 4

What engines does the new Range Rover Evoque diesel have?

Accepted Answer

The new Evoque diesel uses the 2.0 four-cylinder mild hybrid, as the D165 with 163 hp or the D200 with 204 hp, both with an automatic gearbox. Trims run from Dynamic S through the Hoxton Edition to the Autobiography.
