Question 1

Is there a used electric Land Rover?

Accepted Answer

Only the Range Rover Electric and the Range Rover Sport Electric are fully electric, and both are recent, so used ones are nearly new. Earlier electrified Land Rovers are plug-in or mild hybrids, which also run on petrol or diesel.

Question 2

Does a used electric Range Rover pay the bollo in Italy?

Accepted Answer

An electric car pays no bollo for five years from first registration, then a quarter of the rate, and Lombardy and Piedmont exempt it for good. The clock runs from first registration, so a used one keeps whatever remains of the exemption.

Question 3

What should I check on a used Range Rover Electric?

Accepted Answer

Ask for the battery's state of health and how it has been charged, and check that the remaining manufacturer's warranty passes to you. A km 0 car has already been registered by the dealer, so its warranty and bollo exemption have started.

Question 4

How much does a new Range Rover Electric cost?

Accepted Answer

The new Range Rover and Range Rover Sport Electric come as the EV450 or EV550, with 450 or 550 hp and the same 118.5 kWh battery, each trim at Land Rover's list price beside the used cars. The Range Rover adds a long-wheelbase EV550.
