Question 1

Is a used MG ZS or MG HS the better buy?

Accepted Answer

The ZS is the more compact of the two and suits town driving, with petrol, hybrid and electric versions. The HS is a size up, with more room in the back and boot, and a turbo petrol or plug-in hybrid engine.

Question 2

Is a used MG SUV still under factory warranty?

Accepted Answer

Often yes, as MG gives its recent cars a long factory warranty, up to seven years. Check on the paperwork when it ends and that every service was done on time, since the cover depends on it.

Question 3

What should I check on a used MG EHS plug-in hybrid?

Accepted Answer

Make sure the charging socket and cable work and that the electric range is still close to new. A car rarely plugged in has run mostly on its 1.5 turbo petrol, and an MG dealer can read the battery's health.

Question 4

Which new MG SUVs are on sale in Italy?

Accepted Answer

The new ZS comes with a 115 hp 1.5 petrol and manual gearbox or as the 197 hp Hybrid+. The HS offers a 224 hp Hybrid+ or a 272 hp plug-in hybrid, and the S5 EV is electric, with 170 or 231 hp.
