Is the five-door Mini Cooper much bigger than the three-door?

It is longer, with a longer wheelbase, two rear doors and a slightly bigger boot. Rear legroom improves, though adults still find it tight on long trips.

Can you get a five-door electric Mini Cooper?

No, the electric Cooper SE of 2020 and the electric Cooper of 2024 are three-door only. For an electric Mini with rear doors, look at the Aceman or the electric Countryman.

Is a three-door Mini Cooper practical for a family?

Only for a small one: the rear seats are reached by tipping the fronts forward and the boot is small. A five-door Cooper or a Clubman makes daily life with children much easier.
