Question 1

Which versions does the new Citroën C3 come in?

Accepted Answer

The petrol C3 comes as the Turbo 100 manual or the Hybrid 110 with the e-DCS6 automatic, in trims such as You, Plus, Max and the rugged-looking Outdoor. The electric ë-C3 has a standard battery or the shorter-range Urban Range.

Question 2

What is the range of the new Citroën ë-C3?

Accepted Answer

With the standard battery the 113 hp ë-C3 is rated at up to 323 km, depending on the trim. The Urban Range versions cover just over 200 km and are meant mainly for town driving.

Question 3

Is the new Citroën C3 Hybrid a full hybrid?

Accepted Answer

It is a 48-volt hybrid: an electric motor inside the six-speed e-DCS6 dual-clutch gearbox helps the 1.2 petrol engine and can move the car on electricity alone at low speed. It needs no charging.

Question 4

Should I buy a new or a used Citroën C3?

Accepted Answer

A new C3 has the manufacturer's warranty, the 2024 design and the hybrid or electric options. A used third-generation C3 costs less and rides as softly, but has the older PureTech and BlueHDi engines.

Question 5

Does a new Citroën ë-C3 pay the bollo?

Accepted Answer

Under national law a new ë-C3 pays no bollo for five years from first registration, then a quarter of the rate. In Lombardy and Piedmont an electric car is exempt for good.
