Question 1

Which versions does the new Citroën C5 Aircross come in?

Accepted Answer

Three powertrains, all automatic: the Hybrid 145 with the e-DCS6 dual-clutch, the 225 hp Plug-in Hybrid and the 210 hp electric ë-C5 Aircross. Trims are You, Plus, Max and Emeraude, though not every powertrain comes in every trim.

Question 2

How far does the new Citroën C5 Aircross plug-in hybrid go on electricity?

Accepted Answer

The Plug-in Hybrid 225 has an official electric range of about 80 km. That covers most daily commutes without the petrol engine, if you can charge at home or at work.

Question 3

What is the range of the electric Citroën ë-C5 Aircross?

Accepted Answer

About 520 km on the WLTP cycle, with a 210 hp motor, in every trim sold in Italy. Real range is lower on the motorway and in winter.

Question 4

Is a new C5 Aircross better than a used first-generation one?

Accepted Answer

The new one is a larger car with an electric version and the manufacturer's warranty. A used first-generation C5 Aircross, from 2019 to 2025, has PureTech, BlueHDi and plug-in hybrid engines and costs less.
