Question 1

Which trims does the new Cupra Formentor come in?

Accepted Answer

The range climbs from the base and Business versions through Impulse and Tribe Edition to the sporty VZ and VZ Extreme, with Custom by ABT alongside. The VZ trims come only with the most powerful engines.

Question 2

What is the electric range of the new Cupra Formentor e-Hybrid?

Accepted Answer

About 115 to 126 km on the WLTP cycle, depending on version, with 204 or 272 hp. It suits drivers who can charge at home or at work.

Question 3

Does the new Cupra Formentor pay the superbollo?

Accepted Answer

The 2.0 TSI with 265 or 333 hp exceeds 185 kW, so it pays the superbollo every year on top of the regional bollo. The 150 and 204 hp versions stay well below the threshold.

Question 4

Is a new Cupra Formentor better than a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new Formentor has the manufacturer's warranty and the 1.5 e-Hybrid with its far longer electric range. A used one from before the 2024 update costs less, but its 1.4 e-Hybrid covers much shorter distances on electricity.
