Question 1

Which new Dacia models are on sale in Italy?

Accepted Answer

The Sandero, the Duster and the larger Bigster SUV, the Jogger family car with up to seven seats, and the electric Spring. The Sandero and the Duster offer the widest choice of versions.

Question 2

Does Dacia sell a hybrid in Italy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the full-hybrid versions of the Jogger, Duster and Bigster pair a petrol engine with electric motors and an automatic gearbox. They suit town driving, where they run often on electricity.

Question 3

Does a new Dacia Spring pay the bollo?

Accepted Answer

As an electric car, the Spring pays no bollo for five years from first registration under national rules, then a quarter of the rate. Some regions, such as Lombardy and Piedmont, exempt electric cars for good.

Question 4

Is a new Dacia better than a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new Dacia has the manufacturer's warranty and the latest generation, such as the Duster launched in 2024. A used one costs less but may be an earlier generation with older engines and equipment.
