Question 1

Which trims does the new DS range come in?

Accepted Answer

Most models step from Pallas to Étoile, with Performance Line as the sportier version and Business Line on the N°4 for company buyers. The DS 3 also comes as Maison Sarah Lavoine, and the N°7 as La Première.

Question 2

Which new DS models are electric?

Accepted Answer

The N°8 is electric only, with 230 hp front-wheel drive, a 245 hp Long Range and a 350 hp all-wheel-drive Long Range. The N°7 offers the same three plus a 145 hp hybrid, the N°4 a 213 hp electric and the DS 3 a 156 hp one.

Question 3

Do new electric DS cars pay the bollo in Italy?

Accepted Answer

Under the national rules an electric car pays no bollo for five years from first registration, then a quarter of the rate; Lombardy and Piedmont exempt it for good. The 350 hp versions exceed 185 kW, but the superbollo is not due while the bollo is exempt.

Question 4

Is a new DS better value than a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new DS brings the manufacturer's warranty and the current hybrid and electric powertrains. A used DS 4 or DS 7 costs less, because the steepest depreciation falls in a car's first years.
