Question 1

Which versions does the new Ford Puma come in?

Accepted Answer

The 125 hp mild hybrid comes in Titanium, ST-Line, ST-Line X and BlueCruise Edition trims, and the 160 hp in ST and ST Edition. The electric Gen-E is sold as a base version, Premium, Black Edition and BlueCruise Edition.

Question 2

What is the difference between the Ford Puma and the Puma Gen-E?

Accepted Answer

The Puma has the 1.0 EcoBoost petrol engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, while the Gen-E is fully electric, with a 168 hp motor and a battery of about 47 kWh. Both keep the MegaBox under the boot floor.

Question 3

Is a new Ford Puma better than a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new Puma has Ford's factory warranty and the 2024 update, with its larger central screen. A used one a few years old costs less and often has the same 1.0 EcoBoost Hybrid engine.

Question 4

Does the new Ford Puma Gen-E pay the bollo?

Accepted Answer

By national law an electric car is exempt for five years from first registration, then pays a quarter of the rate; some regions, such as Lombardy and Piedmont, exempt it for good. The mild-hybrid Puma pays on its kW at its region's rate.
