Question 1

Which versions does the new Jeep Avenger come in?

Accepted Answer

The petrol, e-Hybrid and electric Avengers come in Longitude, Altitude and Summit trims, plus the 85th Anniversary edition. The 4xe has its own Upland and Overland trims, as well as an 85th Anniversary.

Question 2

Is the Jeep Avenger 4xe a real four-wheel drive?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it adds an electric motor on the rear axle to the front-drive 1.2 Hybrid 48V, for 145 hp and four-wheel drive with an automatic gearbox. It is the Avenger meant for snow and rough tracks.

Question 3

How far does the electric Jeep Avenger go, and does it pay the bollo?

Accepted Answer

Its 54 kWh battery gives about 390 to 400 km on the WLTP cycle, depending on trim. By national law it pays no bollo for five years from registration and then a quarter, while Lombardy and Piedmont exempt it for good.

Question 4

Should I buy a new or a used Jeep Avenger?

Accepted Answer

A new Avenger has the full factory warranty and the version you choose. A used one is at most a few years old, costs less after the first years' depreciation and may keep part of its warranty.
