Question 1

Which engines does the new Kia Sportage have in Italy?

Accepted Answer

All are 1.6 litres: a CRDi mild-hybrid diesel with 136 hp, a T-GDi turbo petrol with 150 hp, the same petrol on LPG with 143 hp, and a 239 hp full hybrid that also runs on LPG. The hybrid has a six-speed automatic, the others a manual or a seven-speed DCT.

Question 2

What trims does the new Kia Sportage come in?

Accepted Answer

Business and Style are offered with every engine. The diesel with the DCT also comes as the sportier-looking GT-Line and GT-Line Plus, and the hybrid as the Black Edition.

Question 3

How much bollo does a new Kia Sportage LPG or hybrid pay?

Accepted Answer

In most regions a dual-fuel or hybrid car pays one flat rate per kW, whatever its Euro class, and a few regions exempt new hybrids for some years. No Sportage version reaches the 185 kW superbollo threshold.

Question 4

Is a new Kia Sportage better than a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new Sportage starts Kia's seven-year warranty from day one and can be ordered as the LPG hybrid. A recent used one costs less and keeps the rest of its warranty, which passes to the next owner.
