Question 1

Which new Kia models are electric in Italy?

Accepted Answer

The EV2, EV3, EV4, EV5, EV6 and EV9, plus the PV5, a van also sold as a passenger version. Batteries run from about 42 kWh on the smaller EV2 to about 100 kWh on the seven-seat EV9.

Question 2

Does Kia sell new cars with factory GPL in Italy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Picanto, Stonic, XCeed and Sportage come in GPL versions that run on LPG as well as petrol. In most regions a dual-fuel car pays the bollo at one flat rate per kW, with no higher rate above 100 kW.

Question 3

How long is the warranty on a new Kia?

Accepted Answer

Kia gives seven years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first, and the cover passes to the next owner if the car is sold. It requires servicing to the maker's schedule.

Question 4

Do new Kia electric cars pay the bollo?

Accepted Answer

By national law an electric car is exempt for five years from first registration, then pays a quarter of the rate. Lombardy and Piedmont exempt it for good, so the owner's region decides.
