Question 1

Which models does Lancia sell new in Italy?

Accepted Answer

Only the Ypsilon, now in its fourth generation, launched in 2024 on the platform Stellantis shares with small cars such as the Peugeot 208. It comes electric, as a hybrid or with a turbo petrol engine.

Question 2

What is the difference between the Lancia Ypsilon LX, HF Line and HF?

Accepted Answer

LX is the comfort-led trim and HF Line the sportier-looking one, both above the base Ypsilon. The HF is the 280 hp electric performance version.

Question 3

Does the new electric Lancia Ypsilon pay the bollo?

Accepted Answer

Under the national rules an electric car pays no bollo for five years from first registration, then a quarter of the rate. Lombardy and Piedmont exempt electric cars for good.

Question 4

Should I buy a new Lancia Ypsilon or a used one?

Accepted Answer

The new Ypsilon is larger than the 2011–2024 model and adds an electric version the old one never had, with the manufacturer's warranty. A used one costs much less and keeps simple, well-known engines.
