Question 1

Which versions does the new Range Rover Evoque come in?

Accepted Answer

Four powertrains, all automatic: the 160 hp P160 petrol and the 163 hp D165 and 204 hp D200 diesels, all mild hybrids, plus a 269 hp plug-in hybrid. The trims are Dynamic S, Hoxton Edition, Hoxton Edition Black and Autobiography.

Question 2

How far does the Range Rover Evoque plug-in hybrid go on electricity?

Accepted Answer

Its official electric range is about 58 to 59 km, depending on the trim. Charged every day, it can cover most commuting on electricity, while on long trips the petrol engine does the work.

Question 3

Is a new Range Rover Evoque better than a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new Evoque has the manufacturer's warranty and the latest software. A used second-generation car, from 2019 on, shares the same platform and mild-hybrid engines and has already lost its steepest depreciation.

Question 4

Does the new Range Rover Evoque come with a manual gearbox?

Accepted Answer

No, every new Evoque in the Italian range is automatic, from the P160 to the plug-in hybrid. A manual gearbox is found only on used cars.
