Question 1

Which electric Land Rovers are on sale in Italy?

Accepted Answer

Two: the Range Rover Electric and the Range Rover Sport Electric. Each comes as the EV450 or the more powerful EV550, and the Range Rover also with a long wheelbase.

Question 2

Does an electric Range Rover pay the bollo in Italy?

Accepted Answer

By national law an electric car pays no bollo for five years from first registration, then a quarter of the rate, and Lombardy and Piedmont exempt it for good. While it is exempt from the bollo, it owes no superbollo either, despite its power.

Question 3

Range Rover Electric or plug-in hybrid: which should I choose?

Accepted Answer

The Electric suits drivers with a charging point at home or work, and its bollo exemption helps in the first years. The P460e and P550e plug-in hybrids cover more than 100 km on electricity, then carry on with a six-cylinder petrol engine.

Question 4

What are the trims of the new Range Rover Sport Electric?

Accepted Answer

The EV450 comes as Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE or Autobiography, the EV550 as Dynamic HSE, Autobiography or First Edition. The Range Rover Electric steps up from SE and HSE to Autobiography and the SV versions.
