Question 1

Which versions does the new Mercedes GLE come in?

Accepted Answer

Diesel 350 d and 450 d, petrol 450 and the V8 580, the 450 e plug-in hybrid, and the AMG GLE 53, 53 Hybrid and 63, as an SUV or a Coupé. Every one has 4MATIC and an automatic gearbox.

Question 2

Does a new Mercedes GLE pay the superbollo?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every version on sale exceeds 185 kW, so each pays the state superbollo on top of the regional bollo, for every kW above that threshold. It falls after five, ten and fifteen years and ends after twenty.

Question 3

What is the electric range of the Mercedes GLE plug-in hybrid?

Accepted Answer

The GLE 450 e has a battery of about 26 kWh, good for close to 100 km of electric range on the official cycle. The AMG GLE 53 Hybrid has a 25 kWh battery and about 90 km.

Question 4

Is a new Mercedes GLE better than a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new GLE has the manufacturer's warranty and the latest engines and driver aids. A used one a few years old has already shed a large part of its value, which on a car of this class is a large sum.
