Question 1

What is the difference between the Qashqai mild hybrid and e-POWER?

Accepted Answer

In the mild hybrid, the 1.3 petrol engine drives the wheels with a small electric assist. In the e-POWER, an electric motor always drives the wheels and the petrol engine only charges the battery, so it drives like an electric car with no plug.

Question 2

Is the new Nissan Qashqai available with four-wheel drive?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but only with the 158 hp mild hybrid and the automatic gearbox, in N-Connecta, Tekna and Tekna Plus trims. The e-POWER and the manual versions are front-wheel drive.

Question 3

Should I buy a new or a used Nissan Qashqai?

Accepted Answer

A new Qashqai has the manufacturer's warranty and the equipment of the 2024 update. A used third-generation car shares the same mild hybrid and e-POWER mechanicals and has already taken its first years' depreciation.

Question 4

How much IPT and bollo does a new Nissan Qashqai pay?

Accepted Answer

Both follow the kW on the Documento Unico: IPT at your province's tariff and the bollo at your region's, where a hybrid often pays a flat rate per kW. No version reaches the 185 kW superbollo threshold.
