The Astra, as a hatchback or Sports Tourer estate, and the Combo, Vivaro and Zafira Life. The current price list has no diesel Corsa, Frontera, Mokka or Grandland.

Question 2

Which gearbox does the new Opel Astra diesel have?

Accepted Answer

The Astra's 130 hp 1.5 diesel comes only with an eight-speed automatic, in both the hatchback and the Sports Tourer. The Combo offers the same engine with a manual or automatic gearbox.

Question 3

What is the difference between the Opel Zafira Life and the Vivaro?

Accepted Answer

They share the body, the 2.2 diesel and the electric versions, each in a medium or long wheelbase. The Zafira Life is the passenger version with Business trims, while the Vivaro is the plainer, working model.

Question 4

Can a new diesel Opel enter Italy's low-emission zones?

Accepted Answer

A new diesel is Euro 6, the class with the fewest restrictions today. Zones such as Milan's Area B have calendars that reach newer diesels over the years, so check your city's rules before buying.
