Question 1

What engines does the new Peugeot 2008 have?

Accepted Answer

Three: the Turbo 100 petrol with a manual gearbox, the Hybrid of 110 or 145 cv with the e-DCS6 dual-clutch automatic, and the electric E-2008 of 156 cv. The E-2008 has a WLTP range of around 400 km.

Question 2

Does the new Peugeot 2008 pay the superbollo?

Accepted Answer

No: the most powerful version, the 156 cv E-2008, has about 115 kW, far below the 185 kW threshold. The electric version is also exempt from the bollo for five years under national rules, and longer in some regions.

Question 3

Is it better to buy a new or a used Peugeot 2008?

Accepted Answer

A new 2008 has the factory warranty and the latest hybrid and electric powertrains, but loses most value in its first years. A used second-generation 2008 shares the body and much of the technology for less.

Question 4

What does it cost to register a new Peugeot 2008 in Italy?

Accepted Answer

On top of the price, the buyer pays IPT on the car's kW at their province's rate, plus fees, stamp duty and plates. The dealer normally handles the paperwork.
