Question 1

Which versions of the new Peugeot 3008 are on sale in Italy?

Accepted Answer

The 3008 comes as a 145 hp Hybrid and a 225 hp Plug-in Hybrid, both with the e-DCS6 dual-clutch automatic, and as the electric E-3008. The E-3008 offers 230 hp with a 97 kWh battery, or 325 hp with the all-wheel-drive Dual Motor and 73 kWh.

Question 2

How far can the new Peugeot E-3008 go on a charge?

Accepted Answer

The 230 hp E-3008 with the 97 kWh battery is rated at about 700 km WLTP, the 325 hp Dual Motor at about 500 km. The Plug-in Hybrid covers about 80 km on electricity alone.

Question 3

Does a new electric Peugeot E-3008 pay the bollo in Italy?

Accepted Answer

Under national law an electric car pays no bollo for five years from first registration, then a quarter of the rate, and some regions exempt it for longer. IPT is still due at registration, set by the car's kW and your province.

Question 4

Is it better to buy a new or a used Peugeot 3008?

Accepted Answer

A new 3008 brings the manufacturer's warranty and the latest platform, but loses the most value in its first years. A used second-generation 3008, built from 2016 to 2023, costs less and was also sold with petrol and diesel engines.
