Question 1

Which versions does the new Peugeot 5008 come in?

Accepted Answer

The Hybrid of 145 hp and the plug-in hybrid of 225 hp both use the e-DCS6 automatic. The electric E-5008 has 230 hp and a 97 kWh battery, or 325 hp, a 73 kWh battery and four-wheel drive as the Dual Motor.

Question 2

Is a new Peugeot 5008 better than a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new 5008 has the factory warranty and hybrid and electric powertrains that the previous generation, sold up to 2023, never offered. A used 5008 of that generation costs less and also seats seven, with petrol and diesel engines.

Question 3

Does a new electric Peugeot E-5008 pay the bollo in Italy?

Accepted Answer

By national law an electric car is exempt from the bollo for five years from first registration, then pays a quarter of the rate. Some regions exempt it for longer, so check your own region's rule.

Question 4

What does it cost to register a new Peugeot 5008 in Italy?

Accepted Answer

On top of the list price you pay IPT, set by the car's kW and your province, plus registration fees and plates. Some provinces reduce IPT for electric cars, so ask yours about the E-5008.
