Question 1

Which versions does the new Porsche Cayenne come in?

Accepted Answer

Petrol Cayenne, S and GTS; the E-Hybrid, S E-Hybrid and Turbo E-Hybrid plug-ins with a 26 kWh battery; and the Electric, S Electric and Turbo Electric. Power runs from 353 cv to 1156 cv, all automatic with all-wheel drive.

Question 2

How far does the new Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid go on electricity?

Accepted Answer

On the WLTP cycle the E-Hybrid versions cover about 73 to 78 km on electricity, enough for most daily commutes. The Cayenne Electric has a WLTP range of more than 600 km.

Question 3

Does a new Porsche Cayenne pay the superbollo?

Accepted Answer

Every petrol Cayenne has more than 185 kW, so it pays the superbollo in full from first registration. The Cayenne Electric pays no bollo for five years, and so no superbollo, and in Lombardy and Piedmont no bollo at all.

Question 4

Is it better to buy a new or a used Porsche Cayenne?

Accepted Answer

A new Cayenne has the factory warranty and the latest hybrid and electric drives. A used one a few years old has already shed much of its value and may keep part of its warranty.
