Question 1

Which new Porsche models are on sale in Italy?

Accepted Answer

The 911 sports car, the four-door Panamera, the Cayenne and Cayenne Coupé SUVs, and the electric Taycan and Macan. The Cayenne and Panamera also come as E-Hybrid plug-in hybrids.

Question 2

Does a new Porsche pay the superbollo in Italy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, unless it is electric: the superbollo is added above 185 kW, and every petrol and plug-in hybrid 911, Cayenne and Panamera is above that. It is paid every year on top of the bollo and falls with the car's age, ending at twenty years.

Question 3

Are the electric Porsche Taycan and Macan exempt from the bollo?

Accepted Answer

By national law an electric car pays no bollo for five years from first registration, and some regions, such as Lombardy and Piedmont, exempt it for good. A car exempt from the bollo also pays no superbollo, however powerful.

Question 4

Can you buy a new Porsche with a manual gearbox in Italy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on some 911 versions, such as the Carrera T and the GT3. Every other new Porsche, from the Cayenne to the electric Taycan, is automatic.
