Question 1

Which engines does the new SEAT Ibiza have?

Accepted Answer

Only petrol: the 80 hp 1.0 MPI without a turbo, the 1.0 EcoTSI with 95 or 115 hp and the 1.5 TSI with 150 hp. No diesel or electric Ibiza is offered.

Question 2

Can you buy a new SEAT Ibiza with an automatic gearbox?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with the 115 hp 1.0 EcoTSI, offered with a manual or the DSG dual-clutch, and with the 150 hp 1.5 TSI FR, which is DSG only. The 80 and 95 hp versions are manual.

Question 3

Is a new SEAT Ibiza better value than a used one?

Accepted Answer

The new car has the factory warranty and the latest equipment, but loses most value in its first years. A used fifth-generation Ibiza, built since 2017, shares the platform and costs less.

Question 4

How much bollo does a new SEAT Ibiza pay?

Accepted Answer

The owner's region charges the bollo on the car's kW and Euro class. With between 80 and 150 hp, every new Ibiza sits far below the 185 kW where the superbollo begins.
