Question 1

Which versions does the new Volkswagen T-Cross come in?

Accepted Answer

Trend is the entry trim, Life, Edition Plus and Style step up in equipment, and R-Line and R-Line Plus add a sporty look. The 95 hp engine is offered only on Trend, Life and Edition Plus.

Question 2

Is the new Volkswagen T-Cross available with an automatic gearbox?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with the 115 hp 1.0 TSI, which pairs with a seven-speed DSG on every trim except Trend. The 95 hp comes only with a manual gearbox.

Question 3

Is a new Volkswagen T-Cross better than a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new T-Cross has the factory warranty and the 2024 update, with its revised dashboard, but loses most value in its first years. A used one from 2019 on shares the platform and the 1.0 TSI for less.

Question 4

How much bollo does a new Volkswagen T-Cross pay?

Accepted Answer

The bollo is charged on its kW and Euro 6 class at the rate of the owner's region; at 70 or 85 kW it stays far below the 185 kW superbollo threshold. IPT at registration also follows kW and the buyer's province.
