Question 1

Which versions does the new Volkswagen T-Roc come in?

Accepted Answer

The SUV comes in Life, Style and R-Line trims, with DSG on every version; the 204 hp 2.0 eTSI with 4Motion is an R-Line only. The T-Roc Cabrio is sold as a Style, with a manual or DSG gearbox.

Question 2

What is the difference between eTSI and TSI Hybrid on the new T-Roc?

Accepted Answer

The 1.5 eTSI, at 115 or 150 hp, is a mild hybrid: a 48-volt system helps the petrol engine but cannot drive the car alone. The TSI Hybrid, at 136 or 170 hp, is a full hybrid that can move on electric power at low speed.

Question 3

Is a new Volkswagen T-Roc better than a used one?

Accepted Answer

The new T-Roc brings hybrid engines, the factory warranty and the latest safety equipment, but loses most value in its first years. A used first-generation T-Roc costs less and still offers diesels and manual gearboxes.

Question 4

Does the new Volkswagen T-Roc pay the superbollo?

Accepted Answer

No: even the 204 hp 2.0 eTSI is about 150 kW, below the 185 kW threshold. The bollo follows kW and Euro class at the regional rate, and many regions treat hybrids more favourably.
