Question 1

Which is the best engine for a used Nissan Juke?

Accepted Answer

On the second generation, the 1.0 DIG-T suits most drivers and the Hybrid town use. On the first, the 1.5 dCi diesel is the frugal choice for high mileage and the non-turbo 1.6 petrol the simplest.

Question 2

What problems does a used Nissan Juke have?

Accepted Answer

On first-generation Jukes with the Xtronic CVT, check that the fluid was changed on time and that the gearbox does not whine or judder. On a 1.0 DIG-T with dual-clutch, test it at low speed in traffic.

Question 3

What is the difference between the first and second Nissan Juke?

Accepted Answer

The second generation, from 2019, sits on a new platform, is longer and has more rear room and a bigger boot. It dropped diesel and four-wheel drive, and added the Hybrid in 2022.

Question 4

How much does a new Nissan Juke cost?

Accepted Answer

The new Juke is sold with the 114 hp petrol, manual or automatic, or the 143 hp Hybrid, in Acenta, N-Connecta, N-Design and Pulse trims, each at Nissan's list price beside the used cars.
