Question 1

What problems does the Nissan Juke 1.2 DIG-T have?

Accepted Answer

Some early 1.2 DIG-T engines, shared with Renault, burn oil, so check the level and ask whether the engine has had work under warranty. A rattle on a cold start calls for a check of the timing chain.

Question 2

Is the Nissan Juke 1.6 DIG-T 190 hp expensive to run?

Accepted Answer

At 140 kW it stays below the 185 kW superbollo threshold, but its bollo and its IPT on transfer are much higher than a 1.0 DIG-T's, as both follow kW. It also uses more fuel.

Question 3

Is the Nissan Juke Hybrid a petrol car?

Accepted Answer

The Juke Hybrid, from 2022, pairs a 1.6 petrol engine with electric motors and an automatic gearbox, and is registered as a hybrid, not a petrol car. Many regions charge a hybrid a flat bollo rate per kW.

Question 4

How much does a new Nissan Juke petrol cost?

Accepted Answer

The new petrol Juke has the 114 hp 1.0 DIG-T with a six-speed manual or an automatic gearbox, in Acenta, N-Connecta, N-Design and Pulse trims, each at Nissan's list price beside the used cars.
