Question 1

What problems does the Nissan Qashqai 1.5 dCi have?

Accepted Answer

The 1.5 dCi is durable but sensitive to oil changes, and older units can wear their crankshaft bearings when servicing was skipped. On cars used only in town, check the particulate filter and EGR valve.

Question 2

Is a used Nissan Qashqai 1.6 dCi worth buying?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for high-mileage drivers who want more pull: with 130 hp it suits motorway trips and towing better than the 1.5. It came with a manual, the Xtronic automatic or four-wheel drive.

Question 3

Is the first-generation Qashqai 2.0 dCi a good used buy?

Accepted Answer

The 2.0 dCi has 150 hp and often four-wheel drive or a six-speed automatic, and suits towing. These are now old cars, so the Euro class and the state of the 4x4 system matter more than the engine.

Question 4

Can a diesel Nissan Qashqai enter Milan's Area B?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the Euro class on the Documento Unico: first-generation Qashqais are Euro 4 or 5 and already face restrictions, while later second-generation cars are Euro 6. Check the city's current calendar before buying.
