Question 1

Which used Opel Corsa generation should I buy?

Accepted Answer

The Corsa F, from 2019, is lighter, better equipped and the only one with hybrid and electric versions. A Corsa E, built from 2014 to 2019, costs less and uses simpler, older engines.

Question 2

What should I check on a used Opel Corsa F 1.2 petrol?

Accepted Answer

Ask for the timing belt history: on the non-hybrid 1.2 petrol from 2019 the belt runs in oil and must be changed on time, as its wear can clog the oil pump. Check the oil level and consumption too.

Question 3

Is a used Opel Corsa-e a good buy?

Accepted Answer

It suits town driving and commuting; ask for a battery health report and check the charging port and cable. An electric car is exempt from the bollo for five years from first registration, and for good in Lombardy and Piedmont.

Question 4

How much does a new Opel Corsa cost?

Accepted Answer

The new Corsa is sold with a 100 hp 1.2 petrol, 110 or 145 hp hybrids and electric versions from 136 to 280 hp, in trims from Yes to Ultimate plus the GSE, each at Opel's list price beside the used cars.
