Question 1

What is the difference between the Opel Combo Life and the Combo Cargo?

Accepted Answer

The Combo Life is the passenger version, with rear seats and windows, registered as a car. The Combo Cargo is the panel van for goods. Since 2018 both have been built alongside the Citroën Berlingo and Peugeot Partner.

Question 2

Which used Opel Vivaro generation should I buy?

Accepted Answer

The Vivaro of 2014 to 2019 is a twin of the Renault Trafic, with Renault's 1.6 dCi diesel. From 2019 it shares its base with the Peugeot Expert and Citroën Jumpy, with 1.5 and 2.0 diesels and the electric Vivaro-e.

Question 3

How many seats does an Opel Zafira Life have?

Accepted Answer

Up to nine, depending on the version, in three body lengths. It is the passenger model derived from the Vivaro since 2019, also sold as the electric Zafira-e Life.

Question 4

How is the bollo charged on a used Opel van?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the registration: a Combo Life or Zafira Life registered as a car pays the regional bollo on kW and Euro class. A panel van registered as an autocarro, a goods vehicle, follows other rules, so check the category on the Documento Unico.

Question 5

How much does a new Opel Combo or Vivaro cost?

Accepted Answer

The new Combo, Vivaro and Zafira Life are sold with diesel, petrol or electric powertrains and a manual or automatic gearbox. Each version can be compared at Opel's list price beside the used vans.
