Question 1

Is the Peugeot 3008 four-wheel drive?

Accepted Answer

Most are not: the second-generation 3008 is front-wheel drive, and Grip Control only adapts traction for mud, snow and sand. Four-wheel drive came with the Hybrid4 plug-in hybrid and, on the third generation, the electric Dual Motor.

Question 2

What is the difference between the second and third generation Peugeot 3008?

Accepted Answer

The second generation, from 2016 to 2023, is a conventional SUV with PureTech petrol and BlueHDi diesel engines. The third, from 2024, has a fastback shape, a wide panoramic display and only hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric versions.

Question 3

What should I check on a used Peugeot 3008 SUV?

Accepted Answer

On the 1.2 PureTech, ask for proof that the timing belt, which runs in oil, has been checked or replaced. On a plug-in Hybrid4, check the real electric range and that the charging cable comes with the car.

Question 4

How much does a new Peugeot 3008 cost?

Accepted Answer

The new 3008 comes as a 145 hp Hybrid or a 225 hp plug-in hybrid, both with the e-DCS6 automatic, and as the electric E-3008 of 230 hp or the 325 hp Dual Motor. Each version, from Allure to GT Exclusive, is listed at Peugeot's official price.
