Question 1

What are the common problems of a used Porsche Cayenne?

Accepted Answer

On the first-generation V8 the plastic coolant pipes in the engine's valley can split, and on every generation the optional air suspension ages and is costly to repair. Check both before buying.

Question 2

Does a used Porsche Cayenne pay the superbollo?

Accepted Answer

Most do, since the petrol V6 and V8 versions have more than 185 kW, though some V6 diesels stay just below it. Check the kW on the Documento Unico: the surcharge falls with the car's age and ends after twenty years.

Question 3

Is a used Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid a good buy?

Accepted Answer

The plug-in E-Hybrid, from the second generation's S E-Hybrid of 2014 to the third generation's versions, covers short trips on electricity. Ask about the high-voltage battery's condition and whether the car was charged regularly.

Question 4

How much does a new Porsche Cayenne cost?

Accepted Answer

The new Cayenne comes with a petrol V6 or V8, as an E-Hybrid plug-in up to the Turbo E-Hybrid, and as the all-electric Cayenne Electric, from 353 cv to 1156 cv. Each version is shown at Porsche's list price.
