Question 1

Which used Porsche Macan engine should I choose?

Accepted Answer

The 2.0 four-cylinder costs least to run and tax, the V6 of the S and GTS gives the car its character, and the Turbo is the fastest. The S Diesel, sold until 2018, suits long motorway trips.

Question 2

Does a used Porsche Macan pay the superbollo?

Accepted Answer

The V6 versions exceed 185 kW and pay it, reduced by the car's age; with the 2.0, whether it crosses the threshold depends on the year, so check the kW on the Documento Unico. The electric Macan pays no bollo for five years, and so no superbollo.

Question 3

Is a used electric Porsche Macan a good buy?

Accepted Answer

It charges at up to 270 kW on its 800-volt system and comes with rear or all-wheel drive. Ask for a battery health report, and note that Lombardy and Piedmont exempt electric cars from the bollo for good.

Question 4

How much does a new Porsche Macan cost?

Accepted Answer

The new Macan is electric only, with a 100 kWh battery, from the rear-drive Macan at 360 cv through the 4, 4S and GTS to the Turbo at 639 cv. Each version is shown at Porsche's list price.
