Question 1

Which diesel engine does a used Renault Trafic have?

Accepted Answer

The Trafic built from 2014 first used a 1.6 dCi, with one or two turbos, and moved to the 2.0 Blue dCi in 2019. The earlier Trafic, up to 2014, had 1.9, 2.0 and 2.5 dCi engines.

Question 2

Is the Renault Trafic the same van as the Opel Vivaro?

Accepted Answer

From 2001 to 2019 they were twins, and the 2014 Trafic was also sold as the Fiat Talento and Nissan NV300. The Vivaro moved to a Stellantis base in 2019, while the Trafic carried on.

Question 3

How is the bollo worked out on a used Renault van in Italy?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the registration category. A Kangoo or Trafic passenger version registered as a car pays the regional bollo on kW and Euro class, while a goods van registered as an autocarro follows other rules, so check the Documento Unico.

Question 4
