Do used Skoda diesels need AdBlue?

Many Euro 6 TDIs, and every 2.0 TDI EVO, use SCR and need AdBlue topped up. The car warns well before the tank runs dry, and will not restart once it is empty.

Can a used Skoda diesel enter Milan's Area B?

It depends on the Euro class shown on the Documento Unico. Milan's Area B already bars older diesels and tightens the ban in stages, so check the current calendar before buying a Euro 5 or early Euro 6 car.

Is a Skoda diesel better than petrol in Italy?

For long motorway runs and towing, a TDI's torque and economy still pay off, especially in a Superb or Kodiaq. On short urban trips the particulate filter rarely gets hot enough to clean itself, and a petrol or hybrid suits better.

Which new Skodas are sold with a diesel engine?

The Octavia, Karoq, Kodiaq and Superb are still offered with the 2.0 TDI, with a manual or DSG gearbox depending on the version. The smaller Skodas and the electric models have no diesel.
