Question 1

What is the difference between the Skoda Karoq and Kodiaq?

Accepted Answer

The Karoq is the compact five-seater; the Kodiaq is longer and can have a third row for seven seats. Both use the Volkswagen Group's TSI and TDI engines, and some versions have 4x4.

Question 2

Is a used Skoda Enyaq a good buy?

Accepted Answer

The Enyaq is an electric SUV on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform, with rear- or all-wheel drive. Ask for a battery health report and check it charges at speed on a fast charger. In Italy it pays no bollo for at least five years, and none at all in Lombardy or Piedmont.

Question 3

Which used Skoda SUV replaced the Yeti?

Accepted Answer

The Karoq replaced the Yeti in 2017, with more space and the newer engines. A Yeti, built from 2009, is now an older, simpler choice, and the 4x4 versions are still sought after.

Question 4

Which new Skoda SUVs are sold in Italy?

Accepted Answer

The Kamiq, Karoq and Kodiaq come with petrol, diesel or hybrid engines depending on the model, while the Elroq, Enyaq and the new Epiq and Peaq are electric. Gearboxes are manual or DSG automatic depending on the version.
